Discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, race, religion or belief, marriage or civil partnership, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy or maternity, ethnic or national origin, or political belief has no place within this pre-school. We are committed to promoting diversity and anti-discriminatory practice is embedded within our curriculum.
All children and families are given equal opportunity to access our services and their contributions are included and valued. We recognise the social, cultural and economic diversity of our society and local community and reflect this in our environment, resources, activities, celebrations and equipment.
For children and families who use English and an additional language we ensure all our communication is able to be understood whether this be verbal or written. Written communication is available in a families home language if required. We offer meetings and support to parents/carers where English is an additional language. We ensure our environment and resources reflect the languages, print and images of all children in the setting.
